Welcome it is a privilege and an honor to have you here. My background is from working as a graphic designer for many years in my home town of Minneapolis. I enjoy playing in the forests, lakes and river bluffs of the great lakes and canoeing the boundary water woodlands in my own backyard.

I started painting after doing beadwork for many years which like art direction requires great precision and patience. So painting with no plan and just starting with mark making and layers of color in a fluid manner has a playfulness that is pure joy. Mark making often starts with a china marker, pigment rich Stabilo Woody fat pencils, Uni Posca markers, Caran D'ache Neocolor ll water soluble crayons and wax pastels on the finishing touches. Often referred to as Abstract Intuitive or Non Objective art is what most of the paintings are even if it is just the background and detailed floral patterns of the final layers that finish the expression of my imagination.
